Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use (T&Cs)

These Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use (hereinafter the "T&Cs") govern the access and use of subscription services (Section 2), as well as the contractual relationship related to support via the Tipeee platform (Section 10), offered by Little Big Campus (hereinafter "the Service"), and the contractual relationship between the Data Controller and the User/Client/Tipper.

Acceptance of these T&Cs is confirmed by checking the box provided for this purpose during order validation or when making a Tip.


1. Identification of the Seller and Contact

The Services are offered by:

  • Seller’s Full Name: Clément VALLES
  • Legal Status: Sole Proprietor (Entrepreneur Individuel)
  • Domicile: Domiciled in France (the full address is provided to the Client upon legitimate request via registered mail or within the order confirmation email).

1.1 Non-Subjectivity to VAT

In accordance with Article 293 B of the General Tax Code (CGI), the Seller is not subject to VAT. Displayed prices are in Euros and are All Taxes Included (TTC), but VAT is not applicable.


2. Purpose and Definition of Services

The Service consists of providing access to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, composed of press articles and editorial content, under the conditions defined by the chosen subscription (Section 3) or via support rewards (Section 10).

Articles published by the Seller are accessible for free during an initial period of one (1) week. Beyond this, access to "Premium" content is reserved for Clients who have purchased a Subscription.


3. Subscription and Pricing Conditions

3.1 Subscription Plans

The Seller offers the following two Subscription plans, providing access to Premium content:

  • LBC Founding Premium Subscription: €4.99 incl. tax per month. This rate is guaranteed as long as the subscription remains active and uninterrupted (limited to the first 500 Clients).
  • LBC Premium Subscription: €7.99 incl. tax per month (standard rate applicable after Founding spots are filled).

3.2 Automatic Renewal and Duration

The Subscription is purchased for a fixed term of one (1) month and is automatically renewed for successive periods of one (1) month. The automatic charge will be processed each month on the anniversary date of the initial subscription.

3.3 Founding Offer Pricing Conditions

The preferential rate for the LBC Founding Premium Subscription (€4.99) is subject to the maintenance of the automatic payment. The preferential rate of the Founding Offer remains valid as long as the subscription stays active and uninterrupted. In the event of cancellation, termination, or non-payment resulting in the expiration of the subscription, the loss of the preferential rate and Founding Status is final.

3.4 Modification of Rates

The Seller reserves the right to modify the rate of the LBC Premium Subscription (€7.99) at any time. Clients with an LBC Founding Premium Subscription retain their guaranteed rate (€4.99), provided they do not terminate their Subscription. In the event of a price change for the LBC Premium Subscription, the Seller will inform non-Founding Clients by email one (1) month before the new rate applies.


4. Ordering and Payment

4.1 Ordering Process

The order is finalized according to the following steps:

  1. Selection of the subscription plan by the Client.
  2. Creation of or login to the Client account via the Membership Pro module.
  3. Validation of the cart and acceptance of the T&Cs.
  4. Redirection to the secure payment interface (Stripe Checkout).
  5. Payment by the Client.
  6. Order confirmation and delivery of the receipt to the Client.

4.2 Payment Methods

Subscription payments are made by credit/debit card via the secure online payment platform Stripe Checkout.

The Client is informed that banking data is not stored by the Seller, but by the secure payment platform (Stripe).


5. Right of Withdrawal: Mandatory Waiver

ATTENTION: The service provided by Little Big Campus is digital content not provided on a tangible medium, the performance of which begins immediately.

In accordance with Article L.221-28 13° of the Consumer Code, the fourteen (14) day right of withdrawal cannot be exercised once the following three cumulative conditions are met at the time of purchase:

  1. The Client has given their express and prior consent to the performance of the service.
  2. The Client has expressly acknowledged that they will lose their right of withdrawal.
  3. The Seller has provided confirmation of this agreement.

Consequently, any Client who checks the waiver acceptance box during the order process does not benefit from the 14-day right of withdrawal.


6. Subscription Termination

6.1 Termination Procedures

The Client may terminate their Subscription at any time, free of charge, and without having to justify a reason.

Termination must be performed directly by the Client via their Member Area on the Website, in the "Subscription Management" section (Membership Pro).

6.2 Effect of Termination

Termination takes effect at the end of the current monthly subscription period. The Client retains access to Premium Content until the originally scheduled expiration date and will not be charged for the following period.


7. User Obligations and Responsibility (ToU)

7.1 Account Use

Access to Premium Content is strictly personal. The User agrees not to share their identifiers and passwords, and not to allow any third party to access the Service.

7.2 Prohibitions

The User is strictly prohibited from:

  1. Reproducing, distributing, selling, or exploiting for commercial purposes all or part of the Premium Content (articles, newsletters, etc.), under penalty of prosecution for infringement (Copyright).
  2. Publishing or transmitting on the Website or associated third-party channels (Discord) any content that is illegal, defamatory, violent, hateful, threatening, harassing, pornographic, or that advocates for crimes or offenses.
  3. Engaging in "spamming," harassment, or unsolicited advertising via the comment or contact areas.
  4. Impacting, in any way, other Users of the Service or its integrity.

7.3 Right of Moderation

The Seller reserves the right to moderate, delete without notice, or block access to the User in case of non-compliance with these prohibitions. Exclusion from the Discord server or revocation of access to Premium Content due to a breach by the Client does not entitle the Client to any refund.


8. Warranty and Limitation of Seller Responsibility

8.1 Obligation of Means

The Seller agrees to implement all reasonable means to ensure the availability, security, and proper functioning of the Site and Premium Content. The Seller is subject to an obligation of means.

8.2 Limitation of Responsibility

  • Interruptions: The Seller cannot be held responsible for interruptions, breakdowns, or suspensions of the Service related to maintenance, Internet network failures, hosting issues, or cases of force majeure.
  • Damages: The Seller is only responsible for direct and foreseeable damages resulting from its breach. It cannot be held responsible for indirect damages (loss of profit, loss of operation, commercial prejudice, loss of data) that the Client might suffer.
  • Cap: In any event, if the Seller's liability were to be engaged, the total amount of compensation due may not exceed the total amount of sums actually paid by the Client/Tipper during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the damage.

8.3 Force Majeure (Subscription)

Neither party can be held responsible for the non-performance of its obligations if such non-performance is due to a case of force majeure, as defined by Article 1218 of the Civil Code and French case law.


9. Disputes, Mediation, and Applicable Law

9.1 Applicable Law

These T&Cs are governed by French law.


9.2 Consumer Mediation

In accordance with Articles L.611-1 and following of the Consumer Code, the Client, in case of a dispute relating to this contract, has the possibility of resorting for free to a consumer mediator for the amicable resolution of the dispute.

The consumer mediator selected by the Seller is CM2C (Centre de Médiation de la Consommation de Conciliateurs de justice).

Conditions for Admissibility of the Request

For the dispute to be examined by the mediator, the Client must strictly comply with the following conditions, justifying having first attempted to resolve the dispute directly with the Seller:

  1. Prior Resolution Attempt: The Client must have sent a written complaint to the Seller (via email or registered mail) for the purpose of amicable resolution and be able to justify the date and sending.
  2. Waiting Period: Referral to CM2C is only possible if:
    • The response provided by the Seller is not satisfactory;
    • OR the Seller has not responded to the complaint within two (2) months from the date of receipt.
  3. Referral Deadline: The referral to the mediator must occur within a maximum of one (1) year from the date of the initial written complaint.

9.3 Competent Court

In the absence of an amicable resolution or mediation, disputes will be brought before the competent French courts. The consumer may bring the matter either before one of the courts with territorial jurisdiction under the Code of Civil Procedure, or before the court of the place where they resided at the time of the conclusion of the contract or the occurrence of the damaging event.


10. Tips (Support) and Rewards (Tipeee Platform)

The provisions of this section apply exclusively to financial support payments (Tips) made through the Tipeee platform. These Tips constitute a donation with a reward and are not subject to the commercial rules of a subscription contract within the meaning of Section 3.

10.1 Nature of the Tip and Absence of Right of Withdrawal

The Tip is a voluntary and free financial support, intended to fund the editorial project. The rewards offered are a token of appreciation from the Seller.

Absence of Refund: Except in exceptional cases of definitive cessation of service (Art. 10.4), a paid Tip does not entitle the Tipper to any refund. The legal 14-day right of withdrawal applicable to distance selling is excluded for Tips (as the service is considered performed immediately upon payment and the primary object is support, not the acquisition of a good).

10.2 Details and Conditions of Tiered Rewards

Rewards are cumulative: a Tipper at a higher tier benefits from the advantages of lower tiers. Rewards are subject to the maintenance of an active Tip (monthly or one-time) and are revoked at the end of the period covered by the last Tip payment.

10.3 Specific Terms and Guarantees for Rewards

A. Commitment: Wall of Fame (Founders' Wall)

  • Description: Display of the Tipper's username on a dedicated page of the site.
  • Display Duration: Strictly subject to the maintenance of an active Tip. Display ceases immediately after the end of the period covered by the last validated Tip.
  • Update Deadline: Within 7 days following the receipt of monthly payments (generally around the 1st of the month).
  • Control and Right of Removal: The Tipper is solely responsible for the username provided. They must make a written request for removal if they wish for their name to be removed, even in the case of an active Tip. Removal will be completed within a maximum of 15 business days.
  • Content Limitation: LBC reserves the right to refuse or remove, without notice or refund, any username deemed offensive, inappropriate, defamatory, or in violation of current laws.

B. Commitment: Private Discord Channel Access (Vanguard, Hero, Legend, Titan Roles)

  • Activation: Role assignment is managed automatically through the Discord-Tipeee integration. LBC guarantees manual assignment in the event of system failure within a maximum of 72 hours after Tip confirmation and verification of the Discord ID.
  • End of Access: Access is revoked automatically at the end of the period covered by the last monthly payment.
  • Moderation and Exclusion: Access is subject to permanent compliance with the server's internal rules and Discord's ToS. LBC reserves the right to temporarily or permanently exclude any Tipper in the event of a serious or repeated breach of the rules. This exclusion is considered the revocation of an access license following a fault by the Tipper and does not entail any right to a refund of the Tip.

C. Commitment: Automated Monitoring of a Favorite Game (Tip 2 and above)

  • Scope: Monitoring strictly limited to games available on the Steam platform and having a public and usable news feed (RSS or API). LBC may refuse a game that is technically unusable or unethical.
  • Nature of Service: The service is purely informative and automated (obligation of means to maintain the bot's functionality). LBC provides no analysis, translation, or summary of the raw content transmitted.
  • Activation Deadline: The Tipper must communicate the title of the designated game within 72 hours of activating their Tip. The Monitoring will be set up within a maximum of 72 hours after receipt of the title. If the Tipper does not communicate their choice within this period, the Monitoring service is lost for the current Tip period.

D. Commitment: Your Voice Counts (Weekly Vote for Articles - Tip 2 and above)

  • Frequency and Process: LBC will submit a selection of three (3) article topics once a week via a dedicated voting channel on Discord. The Tipper votes for one topic among the options provided.
  • Editorial Control: In the event of a tie, LBC’s Editorial Team reserves the right to decide and choose the final topic.
  • Publication Commitment Deadline: LBC agrees to publish the chosen article no later than the end of the week following the close of the vote (deadline including research, writing, and upload).

E. Commitment: Weekly Private AMAs (Tip 3 and above)

  • Format and Deadline: The service is operated asynchronously via a private Discord channel. LBC guarantees the opening of a question channel each week and the publication of detailed written answers by the end of the week at the latest.
  • Limitations and Exclusions: LBC reserves the right not to answer questions regarding personal data, or strategic, financial, or confidential contractual information, or any illegal/defamatory content. The AMA right does not confer the right to demand the disclosure of information.

F. Commitment: Bi-monthly Vote for the "Grand Format" (Tip 3 and above)

  • Frequency and Process: Vote organized once every two (2) weeks on a dedicated Discord channel for the choice of the in-depth feature.
  • Publication Commitment Deadline: LBC agrees to publish the chosen Grand Format within a maximum of fifteen (15) days from the close of the vote.

G. Commitment: Monthly Custom Article (Tip 4 only)

  • Frequency and Proposal: LBC will submit three (3) specific topic proposals at the beginning of the monthly period covered by the Tip.
  • Selection Process: The Tipper must communicate their topic choice to LBC within 72 hours of receiving the proposals.
  • Loss of Right: If the Tipper does not communicate a selection within this 72-hour window, the right to the custom article is lost for the current month and cannot be carried over or refunded.
  • Publication Deadline: LBC agrees to produce and publish the selected article within a maximum of thirty (30) days from receipt of the selection.

H. Commitment: Monthly Twitch Live Spotlight (Tip 4 only)

  • Activation: The Tipper must communicate their Twitch channel URL. LBC guarantees module integration within 72 hours after receiving this URL.
  • Display Format: The display is managed by a technical module integrated into LBC and is triggered only when the Tipper is live (using the iFrame or Twitch's official API).
  • Content Control and Suspension: The Tipper agrees that their stream content strictly adheres to: 1) LBC’s editorial line (Video Games and Pop Culture), 2) Current French laws (defamation, hate speech, etc.), and 3) LBC’s ethics. LBC reserves the right to immediately and without notice remove the Live integration in case of non-compliance with these commitments.
  • Location: LBC guarantees the Live display in the most prominent location reserved for Partners (homepage or equivalent location).

10.4 Cessation of Service and Force Majeure Clause (Tips)

  1. Right to Suspend and Stop: Little Big Campus (LBC) reserves the right to temporarily suspend or permanently cancel all or part of the services related to Tips (rewards) in the event of a force majeure event or a legitimate and compelling cause making it impossible to continue the activity (including, but not limited to: serious illness or incapacity of team members, destruction of technical infrastructure, shutdown of external platforms necessary for service execution, or definitive cessation of project funding).
  2. Refund Procedures: In case of permanent cancellation, LBC agrees to refund the Tips already received to the Tipper, only on a pro rata temporis basis for the remaining period covered by the last Tip payment and not yet performed at the time of cessation of service. No refund is due for Tips that have already been paid and have covered periods during which rewards were active and available.
