Confirmed Releases : Get Your Controllers Ready for 2026
Star Wars : Galactic Racer - The Worthy Successor to Episode I Racer ?
This is undoubtedly one of our biggest expectations at the Campus. Set in the Outer Rim after the fall of the Empire, Galactic Racer plunges us into the adrenaline of the Galactic League's underground circuits. We are promised pod races (repulsorcraft) with unique physics, betting, strategy, and a narrative solo mode that looks powerful. If you spent hours on the old Podracer on PC, N64, or Dreamcast, this game is made for you. Release expected in 2026 !
Star Wars Zero Company - The "X-Com" of the Clone Wars
Attention strategists ! Bit Reactor and Respawn are concocting Zero Company, a turn-based tactical game with a strong X-Com vibe in a Jedi setting. We follow Hawks, a former Republic officer, leading an elite squad during the twilight of the Clone Wars. Stopping a galactic threat with unlikely allies while managing placements on a tactical grid ? We are signing up immediately for 2026.
In Development : The Future Legends
Star Wars Jedi 3 - The Conclusion of Cal Kestis' Journey
After loving Fallen Order and farming every corner of Survivor, the announcement (even a discreet one) of the third installment brings stars to our eyes. This will be the final chapter of Cal Kestis' story. Despite the departure of director Stig Asmussen, Respawn and EA are staying the course to close this trilogy that redefined Star Wars action-adventure gaming. A very recent rumor claims we might have news around May (announcement), for a release in the fall of 2026 !
Star Wars : Fate of the Old Republic - The Shock of The Game Awards 2025
This is the game that broke the internet at the end of 2025 ! Directed by Casey Hudson (formerly of BioWare), this narrative action RPG promises total immersion in a galaxy at the dawn of a rebirth. Inspired by the legacy of KOTOR, your choices will lead you toward the Light or the Dark Side. The trailer has already exceeded 2 million views, proving that the anticipation for the Old Republic is immense.
Amy Hennig's Mystery Project (Skydance)
When the creator of Uncharted takes on Star Wars, we expect something massive. Skydance New Media is working on a "blockbuster" cinematic experience with an original story. We don’t yet know if we’ll encounter familiar faces, but Amy Hennig’s talent for storytelling makes us ultra-confident.
On Hold or Status Unknown : Fingers Crossed
Star Wars : Eclipse - Quantic Dream's Oversized Ambition
The studio led by David Cage (Detroit : Become Human) is preparing a brand-new plunge into the High Republic era, long before the rise of Skywalker. This title stands out with a multi-branching narrative where every decision could seal the fate of new characters with unique morals and motivations. While the project remains shrouded in mystery, Quantic Dream has confirmed that the game will integrate more advanced action-adventure mechanics than their previous productions, while maintaining their narrative signature. The lack of a release date (likely 2027) is explained by the development of a brand-new graphics engine capable of handling the visual diversity of this flourishing era. The project moves forward in the shadows, but the promise of a truly "grey" and mature Star Wars experience continues to haunt fan expectations.
KOTOR Remake : Does a "Juliet" project hide another ?
The sea serpent of gaming has just taken on galactic proportions : not only does Saber Interactive confirm that the remake of the first installment remains an absolute priority, but a recent investigation reveals the existence of project "Juliet", which is none other than a modern and complete remake of KOTOR II. While Lucasfilm Games had to slow down some ports due to rights issues, the ambition to resurrect these two legendary RPGs seems more relevant than ever within the studio corridors. We have our fingers crossed that these sublimated versions of Revan and the Exile will finally see the light of day. The project is still alive, but moving at a Bantha's pace.
Star Wars Collectible Card Game - The Force in Your Hands
Announced in December 2025, this new title marks the grand return of the franchise to the ultra-competitive territory of digital CCG (Collectible Card Games). The project was born from a strategic partnership between Lucasfilm Games, Zero36 Studio, and the specialists at CCG Lab, with the stated ambition of competing with the giants of the sector on Android, iOS, and PC. Unlike previous mobile titles in the franchise, the focus here is on building highly customizable decks and strategic real-time battles featuring all the iconic characters from the saga. For deck-building fans who want to take the Force everywhere, this title promises to be the new essential daily rendezvous for collecting heroes and villains of the galaxy.
Campus Verdict
Whether you are a fan of speed, tactics, RPGs, or lightsaber combat, the coming years promise to be incredible. We can’t wait to test these new experiences and see if they can match our childhood memories while offering the technical prowess of 2026. One thing is certain : you can start warming up your APM !
And George Lucas, if you ever read this, tell Disney to make a remake of Star Wars Rebellion. It’s been almost 25 years since we’ve been waiting, by a Mynock's name.
